Briton Derek Chisora claims that the face of WBC champion Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) hasn’t fully healed from a cut he sustained during sparring ahead of his fight against WBO, WBA, IBF, and IBO champion Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs).
«The last time Tyson was here, he was sparring and got a cut. I know for a fact that this thing hasn’t healed properly, he hasn’t been sparring, so he’s been doing more cardio.
I think Alexander and his team will target that eye, and that cut will open up in the third or fourth round, and then madness will begin.
Additionally, he doesn’t handle southpaws well,» said Chisora.
Chisora has fought both Fury and Usyk. He lost to Tyson three times (twice by stoppage) and once to Usyk by decision.
Usyk and Fury will face off on May 18 in Saudi Arabia for the undisputed heavyweight championship.
