Chisora Fights Delivery Man. Warren Says Derek Was Defending Himself

A video surfaced recently showing a man resembling British heavyweight (over 90.7 kg) Derek Chisora (34-13, 23 KOs) in a confrontation with a delivery service courier. Initially, the men are seen arguing and holding each other before Derek headbutts the courier.

Frank Warren, founder and head of the promotional company Queensberry Promotions, attempted to explain what actually transpired in this incident.

"I saw it yesterday morning. At that time, I didn't fully understand what had happened, but I watched the video and saw the argument. Derek was with his children, and the delivery guy started pushing him. Derek was defending himself, that's how I see it.

Chisora was very upset about what happened. Apparently, they were eating, and the guy caused a problem. The police were called, and that was the end of it. Nothing happened.

It's bad for anyone, whether it's a boxer, a footballer, or a bank worker. I mean, who wants to see that on the street? No one.

Will there be charges? Just watch the video. You'll see the guy approach him and start pushing his fist, and Derek did what he did. He was with his children. As I understand it, that's how it was. It's over now. The police were called. Nothing happened. They didn't arrest him or the courier," Warren said.

On July 27th at the O2 Arena in London, UK, Derek Chisora will face his compatriot Joe Joyce (16-2, 15 KOs). You can check out the undercard for the event here.
