Champions Get Ready. Catterall Talks About Plans After Taylor

British junior welterweight (up to 63.5 kg) contender Jack Catterall (28-1, 13 KOs) shared his plans following his bout against Josh Taylor (19-1, 13 KOs), with whom he will face off on May 25.

«I want to participate in big fights, and this is a big fight – against Josh Taylor. The cherry on top would be the championship status.

I think I've grown a lot in the two years since the first fight, both as a fighter and as a person. I've worked hard on myself.

It's time to prove that I can really take part in such big fights. Once I beat Josh, I'll move on and capture a world title,» said Catterall.

The fight between Catterall and Taylor, scheduled for May 25 at the First Direct Arena in Leeds, will be their second clash. In the first fight, Josh Taylor won by split decision.
