"Sepeda and Hughes to Determine Contender for IBF and WBA Lightweight Titles

A fight has been scheduled between WBA Continental Americas lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) William Sepeda (29-0, 25 KOs) and Maxi Hughes (26-6-2, 5 KOs), set to to take place on March 16 in Las Vegas.

The winner will become the mandatory challenger for the IBF and WBA titles. The IBF belt will be contested between Lomachenko and Kambosos. Gervonta Davis holds the WBA title. Gervonta may have his next fight against Frank Martin.

Sepeda won his last fight against Mercito Gesta, while Hughes lost to George Kambosos.
