Catterall and Barbosa Finalize Fight Date

British fighter Jack Catterall and American Arnold Barbosa have agreed to a fight date. According to Boxing News, the bout is scheduled for February 15 in Manchester.

The winner will earn the mandatory challenger position for the WBO junior welterweight title currently held by Teofimo López.

In 2024, Catterall secured unanimous decision victories over Josh Taylor and Regis Prograis. Meanwhile, Barbosa fought three times, claiming a TKO win over Xolisani Ndongeni and decision wins against Sean McComb and Jose Carlos Ramirez.
