Cameroonian heavyweight boxer Carlos Takam defeated Frenchman Tony Yoka by split decision.
In Paris, the 10-round boxing match between 42-year-old Takam and 30-year-old Olympic champion of 2016, Yoka, took center stage as the main event of the evening. Despite Yoka receiving a cut in the 4th round and going on the defensive, Takam proved to be more active.
In the end, two judges scored the bout in favor of Takam with scores of 96:94 and 96:94, while one referee gave the advantage to Yoka with a score of 96:94.
It is worth noting that both boxers had suffered losses in their previous fights. Yoka was defeated by Martin Bakole in May 2022, and Takam lost to Arslanbek Makhmudov in September.
