Canelo and Crawford Agree to Megafight This Fall

According to The Ring, an agreement has been reached for a blockbuster fight between Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) and Terence Crawford (41-0, 31 KOs) later this year.

The bout will take place in September as part of Riyadh Season, with the exact date to be determined. Las Vegas has been chosen as the venue, and Canelo's WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight titles will be on the line.

Before facing Crawford, Canelo is expected to fight on May 3 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, with IBF champion William Scull (23-0, 9 KOs) emerging as a likely opponent. Scull captured the IBF title in October 2024 and is now in contention for a career-defining showdown with the Mexican superstar.
