Canelo Thinks Netflix Misunderstands Boxing

The undisputed super middleweight world champion, Mexican Saúl "Canelo" Álvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs), does not believe that the fight between Jake Paul and Mike Tyson is a good idea. However, he's pleased that Netflix has entered the boxing scene.

"I'm not interested in this fight. Not at all. It's good that Netflix has come into boxing. But it's an exhibition fight. I think Netflix is doing something wrong. Their involvement in boxing is good, but not with these kinds of fights. I think it's more of a show than a fight. At this stage, I'm not interested in such fights," Álvarez commented.

The Jake Paul vs. Mike Tyson fight will be the first bout broadcast live by Netflix. They are set to meet on July 20th. The format of the fight is yet unknown.
