Insider Mike Coppinger, citing sources at ESPN, reports that the undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) and Premier Boxing Champions (PBC) have mutually agreed to terminate their contract and not proceed with two out of the three planned fights.
The agreement was initially set for the boxing superstar to face WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (33-0, 22 KOs) on May 4th. However, Canelo and PBC were unable to finalize the terms.
It's now suggested that Canelo might face Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs) in May and Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) in September.
