Canelo Open to Fighting Jake Paul

WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) has shared his thoughts on a potential fight against popular influencer and boxer Jake Paul (11-1, 7 KOs).

“When I finish competing at the highest level in boxing, why not? Yes, maybe.

I think it’s good because people who have never watched boxing, who know nothing about it, want to watch Jake Paul’s fights because he brings fans from other spheres. Maybe I’ll fight Paul,” Canelo told The Full Send podcast.

In September, Canelo defeated Edgar Berlanga (22-1, 17 KOs) by unanimous decision. On November 15, Jake Paul secured a unanimous decision win against Mike Tyson (50-7, 44 KOs).
