Canelo Creates Chaos!

Promoter Oscar De La Hoya clarified the issues surrounding the organization of the next match for the undisputed super middleweight champion (up to 168 lbs), Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs). The Mexican has already announced that his next fight will take place on May 4, yet there's still no opponent in sight.

"Canelo holds all the cards, and that's the problem. He's creating all this chaos we're currently living in. Everyone wants to see him on their platform, whether it's DAZN, Amazon, or PBC. Somehow, I have to reach Canelo. In my 22 years in the business, I've learned not to believe anything you read or see. Until you see it on paper, signed and sealed, you just can't believe it," said De La Hoya.

Recently, Alvarez announced that his next fight would not be against a Mexican fighter. After that, he parted ways with American promoters RVS, even revealing the reason. Now, a Mexican fighter, Jaime Munguia, has emerged as a potential opponent on his list.
