Luke Campbell commented on the upcoming fight between the WBC champion in the super lightweight division (up to 63.5 kg) Devin Haney (31-0, 15 KOs) and Ryan Garcia (24-1, 20 KOs).
The former boxer believes that Garcia is capable of shocking his opponent on Saturday night.
"People talk as if Ryan has already lost the fight and it's all over for him. He's facing Devin Haney—I was really impressed with his win over Prograis; Devin is a very, very good fighter.
I believe Devin will deliver his best performance because that's what he does. He brings his top-class boxing to every fight. If Ryan Garcia brings his best, he could be too much for Devin.
Devin is a very technical fighter. He doesn’t have great knockout power but enough to let you know he's there and to break your face a bit. I think Garcia could potentially win by knockout, or Haney could outbox him on points," said Campbell.
Garcia was Luke Campbell’s last opponent—Ryan won by technical knockout in January 2021.
The fight between Devin Haney and Ryan Garcia is scheduled for April 20 in New York, USA.
