Premier Boxing Champions is reportedly working on a fight card for May 31 in Las Vegas, according to Boxing Scene.
The main event is expected to feature interim WBA super middleweight champion Caleb Plant (23-2, 14 KOs), though his opponent has yet to be confirmed. Plant last fought in September, scoring a ninth-round TKO over Trevor McCumby, bouncing back after his loss to David Benavidez.
Also being considered for the undercard is former WBC middleweight champion Jermall Charlo (33-0, 22 KOs), who has been mostly inactive—having fought only twice since 2021. His last appearance was in November 2023.
The potential inclusion of both fighters on the same card adds intrigue, especially given their history: in July 2023, Plant slapped Charlo backstage at the Crawford vs. Spence weigh-in, igniting a personal feud that has yet to be settled in the ring.
If finalized, the event could mark a high-profile return for both men—and possibly plant the seeds for a future showdown.
