Official: Anthony Cacace to Face Leigh Wood

Queensberry Promotions has officially announced a showdown between Irish IBO super featherweight champion Anthony Cacace (23-1, 8 KOs) and England’s Leigh Wood (28-3, 17 KOs).

The fight is set to take place on May 10 at the Motorpoint Arena in Nottingham—Wood’s hometown.

The event will be broadcast live on DAZN.

In his last outing, Cacace claimed a unanimous decision victory over Josh Warrington in September. Meanwhile, Wood hasn’t fought since October 2023, when he stopped Warrington by seventh-round TKO.
