Cacace–Ford Bout Cancelled: Official Reason Given

Anthony Cacace (24-1, 9 KOs), the IBO Super-Featherweight champion from Britain, will not face American Raymond Ford (17-1-1, 8 KOs).

The 36-year-old suffered a back injury in training. His slot on the Itauma-White undercard has been scrapped. Promoters are searching for a new opponent for Ford; if they can’t secure one, the matchup will be moved to another date.

The fight had been scheduled for 16 August in Riyadh.
