Buatsi - WBA Contender After Victory Over Aziz

British boxer Joshua Buatsi (18-0, 13 KOs) faced off against previously undefeated compatriot Dan Aziz (20-1, 13 KOs). Buatsi took control and secured the victory with a unanimous decision: 116-110, 117-109, and 117-109.

The bout was for the mandatory contender status for the WBC light heavyweight title (up to 79.4 kg). Now, Buatsi officially holds the contender position. Dmitry Bivol currently holds the WBA light heavyweight title.
