Briton Ball Could Return in a Title Fight

British promoter Frank Warren has mentioned that Briton Nick Ball (19-0-1, 11 KOs) could quickly return to the ring.

According to the promoter, Ball might challenge American Raymond Ford (15-0-1, 8 KOs). The fight could be for the WBA featherweight title (up to 57.2 kg), which is currently vacant. The Ball vs. Ford bout could take place on June 1st as part of the 5 vs 5 tournament between Frank Warren's Queensberry and Eddie Hearn's Matchroom promotional companies.

In his previous fight, Ball also competed for the WBC title in the same weight category. On March 8th, in the undercard of Joshua vs. Ngannou, Ball faced Rey Vargas, and the fight ended in a draw. Warren considers this decision to be unfair.
