British Top Prospect: "I Want to Fight Usyk"

19-year-old British heavyweight prospect (over 90.7 kg) Moses Itauma (10-0, 8 KOs) has revealed who he would like to face in the next 12 months.

"Of course, I would like to face Usyk, because he has the belts. That's exactly what I box for – to win titles and make money. It doesn't matter how I achieve that.

I grew up watching Usyk. He holds the belts. I'm not saying that I'm trying to get a fight with him right now, because at this stage, I'm still far from that," Itauma said.

In 2024, Moses has already had three fights and won all of them by stoppage: in March against Dan Garber (7-3, 2 KOs), in May against Ilya Mezentsev (25-4, 21 KOs), and in July against Mariusz Wach (38-11, 20 KOs).

On December 21 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, WBA, WBC, WBO, and IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) will have a rematch with Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).
