The British Boxing Board of Control (BBBoC) and Matchroom Boxing, led by promoter Eddie Hearn, have filed a lawsuit against Chris Eubank Jr.

The reason was his allegation that Matchroom representatives allegedly delayed an ambulance for 20 minutes after his first fight against Conor Benn.

“They’ll deceive anyone, go to any lengths, step over anyone and break any rules just to try to succeed. They did everything they could to destroy me in that fight,” Eubank said.

Later, Chris posted a 10-second video showing an ambulance trying to leave the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium amid chaotic scenes.

However, according to BoxingScene, from the moment Eubank left the ring as the winner to his arrival at the Royal London Hospital, located about seven miles from the arena, less than 45 minutes had passed — which undermines his claim of a 20-minute delay.

Before the video surfaced, Eddie Hearn commented on the accusation:

“There’s a logbook for every fight — when the ambulances arrive and when they leave. What he accused us of is unacceptable. We’re a serious organization.”

The Eubank Jr vs Benn rematch will take place on November 15 at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium in London.
