Official: Brian Norman to Face Jin Sasaki

Top Rank has officially announced a welterweight showdown (limit: 66.7 kg / 147 lbs) between undefeated WBO world champion Brian Norman (27-0, 21 KOs) of the United States and Japan’s heavy-hitter Jin Sasaki (19-1-1, 17 KOs).

The bout is set to take place on June 19 at the Ota-City General Gymnasium in Tokyo, Japan.

Norman is coming off an emphatic win on March 29, when he stopped Derrieck Cuevas via third-round TKO. Sasaki, meanwhile, last fought in January, defeating Shoki Sakai by unanimous decision.
