Breaking Barriers: Ngannou Makes WBC Top 10 Despite Loss to Fury

Ex-UFC heavyweight champ Francis Ngannou is punching his way into the WBC's top 10 rankings. Come to the WBC congress in Tashkent, and it's a done deal. Mark your calendars for November 15 - that's when the ratings and mandatory challenger session throws its weight behind Francis, slotting him in at number 10 in the heavyweight league.

Despite Ngannou's boxing record showing just one pro bout - a tough split decision loss to the undefeated Tyson Fury (34-0-1, 24 KOs) back in October 2023 - he's still clinching a spot in the top 10. 

That list's already heavy with hitters like Deontay Wilder, Anthony Joshua, Arslanbek Makhmudov, Frank Sanchez, Andy Ruiz, Jared Anderson, Efe Ajagba, Dillian Whyte, Martin Bakole, and Joseph Parker.
