Bradley to Canelo: "If Someone Calls You Out, You Need to Fight"

On the show Deep Waters on ProBox TV, former world champion Tim Bradley commented on the behavior of the undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs). The expert is convinced that Canelo must respond to the challenge from David Benavides (28-0, 24 KOs).

"It's obvious that Canelo doesn't want to fight [Benavides]. Estrada and Jesse Rodriguez have something called Mexican pride. If someone calls you out, you need to fight. Benavides called his name, but Saul doesn't respond. And he's going to do nothing about it?

When is Canelo going to respond? It's his duty when one Latin American calls out another. He needs to respond to him. Despite everything.

I don't care about business or anything else. If you're proud of yourself, believe in yourself, and there's another person who feels the same, calling you out – you need to respond, man. When is he going to do it and show the people what they want to see?" said Bradley.

Canelo Alvarez's next fight is scheduled for May 4 against Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) in Las Vegas, USA.

Benavides' fight is planned for the summer against Alexander Gvozdyk for the WBC "interim" light heavyweight title (up to 175 lbs).
