Former champion, now expert and boxing commentator Timothy Bradley, in his column for ESPN, has made predictions for the fight between IBO lightweight champion (up to 61.2 kg) George Kambosos (21-2, 10 KOs) and Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs).
"The lightweight division is not just promising, but also exciting. For Lomachenko, the path to undisputed greatness seems straightforward. At the end of his career, the flame of motivation could ignite again with the clarity of his task.
Lomachenko's position looks strengthened, but for him to claim the most challenging title of all – that of the undisputed champion, his performance must be impeccable. It's very simple: Lomachenko will win by unanimous decision and reclaim one of his titles," said Bradley.
The fight between George Kambosos and Vasyl Lomachenko will take place on May 12 in Perth, Australia. In addition to the IBO belt held by George, the vacant IBF title will also be at stake.
