Bradley: "This Could Awaken Canelo's Ferocity"

On May 4th in Las Vegas, USA, the Mexican showdown between super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) world champion Saul "Canelo" Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) and Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) will take place.

Former world champion, now commentator and boxing analyst Timothy Bradley shared his expectations for the fight.

"Will we see vintage Canelo Alvarez? This is more than just a fight. I understand this is Mexico vs. Mexico, and considering Canelo's conflict with Oscar De La Hoya, who now promotes Munguia, I understand all the dynamics involved.

Will all of this push Canelo to show his best boxing? This guy could awaken Alvarez's ferocity. Vintage Canelo Alvarez is something we haven't seen in a while.

The result of this fight will determine the future of both boxers. Where will Canelo go next? Will he fight another young and dangerous guy like David Benavidez, because Munguia shows similar intensity? Or, if he looks mediocre, will there be no fight with Benavidez?" Bradley said.
