Anthony Joshua's ring strategist, the American coach Robert Garcia, is throwing some verbal jabs over Tyson Fury's standing among boxing's elite. He's convinced the WBC heavyweight champ (34-0-1, 24 KOs) shouldn't be flexing in the P4P top ten. And when it comes to the looming clash with Oleksandr Usyk:
"Fury's spot in the top ten? That's a miss. His tango with Ngannou was a no-show, a real snoozer. Usyk's set to school him – trust me on that. Fury won't lay a glove on Usyk. It's a lock," Garcia pulls no punches in his forecast.
It's likely Garcia's taking a jab at the ESPN rankings we flagged earlier, where Fury's spot slipped from a lofty sixth to the edge of the top ten.
