Andriy Boryshpolets Defeats Nazri Raghimov

On September 28 in Kyiv at Stereo Plaza, a bout took place between 23-year-old Ukrainian Nazri Raghimov (14-4, 8 KOs) and his 27-year-old compatriot Andriy Boryshpolets (10-2, 4 KOs). The fight was for the Ukrainian Professional Champion title and the WBC Ukraine light welterweight (up to 63.5 kg) belt. The bout ended in a majority decision: 95-95, 97-93, and 96-94 in favor of Andriy Boryshpolets.

For Raghimov, this marks his first defeat since 2021. Boryshpolets had suffered a stoppage loss in 2023, and this fight was his second since that defeat.
