Next Fight Date for Bohachuk Announced

The promoter of the "interim" WBC super welterweight champion Serhii Bohachuk (24-1, 23 KOs), Tom Loeffler, disclosed when the Ukrainian will return to the ring and even named the month of the fight.

"Sergey will be fighting in July. The plan is for Sergey to defend his 'interim' title once or twice, and then, as soon as we can, we will arrange a very big fight for the full championship and, possibly, a unification bout," said Loeffler. Bogachuk became champion on March 31st after defeating Bryan Mendoza. Sergey won against the American by unanimous decision. The full WBC champion in this category is Sebastian Fundora, who will not be able to box for the next six months due to an injury.
