Tom Loeffler, the founder of 360 Promotions and the promoter of Ukrainian super welterweight (up to 69,9 kg) boxer Serhii Bohachuk (24-2, 23 KOs), revealed that his client might return to the ring in December on the undercard of the rematch between Oleksandr Usyk (22-0, 14 KOs) and Tyson Fury (34-1-1, 24 KOs).
"Serhii’s star has risen after this fight. I don’t understand why no one believed in his chances before the fight. He was a 5-to-1 underdog.
It’s great that Turki Al-Sheikh was there in person and saw just how brilliantly Serhii performed. He also said that he believes Serhii won the fight, or at worst, it should have been a draw.
Turki was very impressed with Serhii. After the fight, he approached us and said he wants to see Serhii on his upcoming show at the end of the year. It’s quite possible for this to happen at the December 21 event in Saudi Arabia. Serhii is ready. It would be amazing if Serhii could perform on this show when his compatriot, heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk, faces Tyson Fury," said the promoter.
On August 10, Serhii Bohachuk lost by majority decision to American Vergil Ortiz (22-0, 21 KOs) and missed out on the WBC interim super welterweight title.
