Bob Arum stated that Usyk and Fury finally agreed on the fight

Top Rank head Bob Arum said that WBA/WBO/IBF/IBO heavyweight champion Oleksandr Usyk and WBC belt holder Tyson Fury have agreed to fight each other next, with no intermediate fights.

“With Fury and Usyk we are dealing with two adults, not much [garbage] is going on either side. Usyk is a good friend of mine, he is very smart, and Tyson is Superman, both as an athlete and as an intellectual.”

“They both want a fight, so there will be very little, if any, inconsistency. So we can make it possible. I am very sure. I said both fighters agreed to fight each other without any fight in between."

“Now the question is what date and what place. But this fight will definitely happen, and it will happen in the first four months of next year. We are looking at a couple of important offers from the Middle East and there is also the possibility of having the fight in the UK at Wembley Stadium with a huge crowd of 95,000.”

“Fighters have a relatively short life and money is important. Therefore, if the money that we were offered is real, this must be taken into account.

“We'll take care of everything. Hopefully, maybe by the end of the year,” Arum concluded.

Earlier, promoter Alexander Krasyuk said that the likelihood of a fight for the title of absolute world champion is very high. The working date of the duel is called March 4.

Promoter Frank Warren said that the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion between Usyk and Fury is a priority than the mandatory defense of the WBA belt, which the Ukrainian must hold against Daniel Dubois.

Arum told how negotiations are progressing on the organization of the fight for the title of absolute world heavyweight champion. According to him, IBF mandatory challenger Filip Hrgovic will not interfere with the unification fight between Usyk and Fury.
