Bob Arum Named WBO's Best Promoter of 2023

At the 36th World Boxing Organization (WBO) Congress, distinguished American promoter, Bob Arum, was honored with the title of 2023's Best Promoter.

Aged 91, Arum stands as the founder of the esteemed Top Rank company and holds a revered place in the Boxing Hall of Fame. His company represents a host of prominent fighters, including Vasiliy Lomachenko, Naoya Inoue, Teofimo Lopez, Shakur Stevenson, and even co-promotes Tyson Fury, alongside many other notable talents.

At the same congress, the President of the WBO remarked that Lomachenko may consider retiring, while also presenting an opportunity for Berinchik to contend for a title and elaborated on the conditions for this possibility.
