Arum Talks About Lomachenko's Possible Retirement

Top Rank head Bob Arum responded to questions regarding the potential retirement of IBF and IBO lightweight champion Vasyl Lomachenko, a topic that has been circulating recently.

"There’s absolutely no way to know what he will do, and if you asked me right now what he’s doing, I would say, 'I don’t know.' He’s doing a great job of managing his money, taking care of his family, and he has accomplished everything he wanted in his professional career. I’m very happy about that.

Of course, if he wants to come back and fight, God bless him, and we will support him in his next fight," said Arum.

After Lomachenko's victory over George Kambosos, there were negotiations for a bout between Lomachenko and Gervonta Davis. However, it later became clear that Vasyl does not intend to step into the ring until the end of 2024.
