Billy Joe Saunders: Rising from the Canvas, Eyeing Benn-Eubank Undercard!

After a 2.5-year hiatus since his last dance in the ring, ex-world champ Billy Joe Saunders (30-1, 14 KOs) hints at a comeback. Word on the street? He might be throwing punches in the spotlight before the anticipated Benn-Eubank Jr. showdown.

"Just waiting for Eddie 'The Matchmaker' Hearn to pencil me in," Saunders quips. "Sounds like he's lining up Benn and Eubank for the main event, and I reckon I'll be warming up the crowd."

Saunders has been sweating it out, training twice daily, gearing up for his return bout. The last time we saw him in the ring? May 2021, when he tasted defeat against Saul Alvarez. But don't expect him to jump into deep waters right off the bat. He's playing it cool, not chasing top-tier rivals... yet.

The Benn-Eubank clash? Rumor has it they'll face off this coming January.
