Billy Joe Saunders Debunks Myths About Fury's Form

Former world champion Billy Joe Saunders, a close ally of Tyson Fury, recently weighed in on the WBC heavyweight champion's entourage. Addressing rumors about Fury losing his edge, Saunders remarked:

"Judge me if you will, but Ngannou wouldn't stand a chance against Tyson, not even when Tyson was far from his prime. That night in the ring? It's probably the worst you've ever seen him.

People are whispering, 'What's up with him? Has he thrown in the towel? I hear there's trouble in his sparring sessions.'

He needs to shake off the dead weight. Ditch those hangers-on, just hustling around his heels for a quick buck. Boot them out. Rally a solid crew, buckle down, then step into the ring, claim the ultimate title, and make a grand exit," Saunders stated.

Oleksandr Usyk and Tyson Fury are set to clash for the undisputed championship on February 17. Saunders, who hasn't boxed since his 2021 defeat to Saul Alvarez, plans a comeback next year.
