Former Australian world heavyweight (over 90,7 kg) champion Lucas Browne (31-6, 27 KOs) has announced his retirement from professional boxing.
"I am incredibly proud of what I've achieved in the ring, and I am deeply grateful to all the fans who have supported me along the way. It's been an incredible journey, and I'm excited to start the next chapter of my life with my family and continue contributing to the sport through my gym," said Browne.
Browne's last fight took place on May 12th in the undercard of the bout between Vasiliy Lomachenko (18-3, 12 KOs) and George Kambosos (21-3, 10 KOs), against Hemi Ahio (22-1, 17 KOs). For Lucas, this marked his third consecutive loss by technical knockout.
