Puerto Rican boxer Edgar Berlanga has declared his interest in facing undisputed Super Middleweight champion Terence Crawford.
“Do I want to fight Crawford? Absolutely, yes. Right now, I’m focused on my comeback fight.
I just need to work hard. What happened in my last fight (the loss to Hamzah Sheeraz) — it’s nothing serious. It hasn’t dimmed my light at all. I’m still a superstar. I’m the king of New York. I’ve got style, I look good, and I fight well.
I’m excited for next year — big things are waiting for me,” Berlanga told Fighthype.
Edgar Berlanga (23-2, 18 KOs) last fought in July, when he was knocked out in the fifth round by Hamzah Sheeraz.
