Berlanga on Canelo vs. Crawford: "It's a Mismatch"

Super middleweight (up to 76,2 kg) boxer Edgar Berlanga (21-0, 16 KOs) shared his thoughts on the potential fight between the undisputed super middleweight champion Saul Alvarez (60-2-2, 39 KOs) and the undisputed welterweight (up to 66,67 kg) champion Terence Crawford (40-0, 31 KOs).

"It's a mismatch. I just think mentally Crawford is stronger than Jermell Charlo and he has more skills. Canelo will just try to beat him with his power and, obviously, he's just a bigger fighter. So if he goes down that route, then the simple fact that Canelo is bigger.

I'm not doubting Crawford because he's one of the best in the world. Probably, he could do it if he was bigger. I know his will is strong. I just think if he was at super middleweight or Canelo was at welterweight, it would make a big difference.

Crawford is in the top three fighters in the world. Right now, you have Crawford, Gervonta Davis, and Canelo is still doing crazy numbers and got all the titles at super middleweight.

A lot of money will be made. A two-time undisputed champion versus an undisputed champion. You know what I'm saying? A lot of money will be involved in this fight. It's going to be a big money fight for both of them," Berlanga said.

Edgar Berlanga will have his next fight on February 24 against Padraig McCrory (18-0, 9 KOs) in Orlando, USA.
