Berlanga and Canelo Weigh in Lighter Than in Previous Fights

WBA, WBC, and WBO super middleweight champion (up to 76.2 kg), 34-year-old Mexican fighter Saúl Álvarez (61-2-2, 39 KOs), and 27-year-old Puerto Rican contender Edgar Berlanga (22-0, 17 KOs) have successfully completed the official weigh-in ceremony ahead of their fight on September 14 at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.

Weigh-in results:

- Edgar Berlanga – 76 kg (167.6 lbs)

Both fighters came in lighter than in their previous bouts. Álvarez weighed 75.66 kg before his fight against Jaime Munguía, while Berlanga weighed 76.1 kg before his match against Padraig McCrory.
