"The training is generally going well, thank God, no injuries. We train according to the schedule. We are in Montenegro, where the weather conditions are different from ours, the first 3 weeks were very warm. Now the weather is changing, raining, thunderstorms. But we have already done all the main work. We can say that we have reached the finish line in the training process."

"The opponent is experienced, he has many fights behind him, so we are preparing for all 12 rounds. Of course, if there is an opportunity to finish the fight earlier, we will do it."

"Among our sparring partners are professional boxers and top athletes from the Olympic team of Ukraine. One of them is world champion Yuriy Zakharev. We selected fighters similar in anthropometry, who repeat the movements of our opponent. As you saw, sometimes even I have to spar with Denis."

"Our goal is to bring a new title to Ukraine, the European champion according to the EBU version and move further towards the title of world champion."
