WBO lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk has shared his thoughts on his upcoming opponent, Keyshawn Davis, highlighting his strengths and outlining his own game plan for victory.
"I’ve been waiting for him, I called him out—and we made it happen. It’s really cool that we’re both Olympic silver medalists. It’s exciting to see two fighters of that caliber, true Olympians, facing off in the pro ring. It definitely adds motivation and energy.
His strengths are his defense and what seems to be a solid chin. But we are preparing much better. We have high boxing IQ and incredibly strong footwork, which we’ll rely on more than our hands."
The Berinchyk vs. Davis showdown is set for February 14 in New York. Detailed statistics and analytics from RTFight are here.
