Ukrainian lightweight boxer Denys Berinchyk (18-0, 9 KOs) believes that former unified champion from Australia, George Kambosos Jr. (21-2, 10 KOs), has a chance to defeat the former three-division world champion from Ukraine, Vasyl Lomachenko (17-3, 11 KOs).
"Yes, he has a chance because he's a decent fighter. He is constantly improving as a boxer. He has a steely character.
He will be fighting at home. I think this will give him extra motivation. Plus, the fans can put a little pressure on the judges," said Berinchyk.
Lomachenko and Kambosos will fight on May 12 in Australia for the IBF lightweight title. Berinchyk will fight for the WBO title a week later, facing Emanuel Navarrete on May 18 in the USA.
