WBO International lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk (16-0, 9 KOs) and EBU title holder Frenchman Ivan Mendy (47-5-1, 22 KOs) held a weigh-in ceremony on the eve of the unification bout.
The Ukrainian boxer proved to be heavier than his opponent. Berinchyk's weight was 61.12 kg. Mehndi's figure is slightly lower - 61.06 kg.
The fight between Berinchik and Mendy will take place on the undercard of the WBC heavyweight champion Tyson Fury and Derek Chisora. The match will take place at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on December 3.
We will remind you that since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, Berinchyk was in the ranks of the territorial defense. The 34-year-old Ukrainian last fought in December 2021, when he defeated the Russian Isa Chaniev by unanimous decision of the judges.
