Benavidez to Canelo: "Hope You Can Buy Yourself a Pair of Balls"

On his Instagram page, the "interim" WBC super middleweight champion David Benavidez (28-0, 24 KOs) responded to Saul "Canelo" Alvarez's (60-2-2, 39 KOs) comments.

"If I have nothing to offer you, then why do you demand $150-200 million to fight a worthless man? I hope after you earn those $150 million, you can buy yourself a pair of balls," Benavidez wrote.

The day before, the undisputed champion stated, "David Benavidez is not the person to be offering me money. Who is he to do that? If some promoter comes to me offering $150-200 million, then I'll fight tomorrow. And I'm only fighting Munguia because there's an extra $25 million involved."

Canelo and Jaime Munguia (43-0, 34 KOs) are set to meet on May 4th in Las Vegas, USA.

Preliminary information suggests that David Benavidez will have his next fight against Ukrainian Oleksandr Gvozdyk (20-1, 16 KOs).
