Eddie Hearn, the renowned British boxing promoter, sees a knockout future for John Ryder, should he triumph over Jaime Munguia:
"I'm really chuffed that Johnny's finally getting his due in the ring. It's not just another feather in his cap, but more so, a golden ticket. Picture this: if he outclasses Munguia, think of the bouts lined up for him. Benavidez, Plante, Jermall Charlo, Berlanga. It's a blockbuster night in the making. And let me tell you, our corner's betting big on him," Hearn commented.
Ryder and Munguia will clash in the United States on January 27. Both warriors matched gloves the same number of times last year. Munguia scored a win over Sergiy Derevyanchenko, while Ryder faced a brutal episode with Saul Alvarez.
