The home of WBC Silver Light Heavyweight titleholder Ben Whittaker was burglarized during his fight with Benjamin Gavazi in Birmingham on the night of November 30.

After returning home, the Brit discovered that intruders had broken into his house. The boxer also said the thieves took his IBF International belt, which he won in June 2024 after defeating Ezra Arenieka over 10 rounds.

Whittaker posted a short video on Instagram showing a kitchen window through which the burglars likely entered, and promised a reward to anyone who helps identify those responsible.

“The highs and lows of sport. I come home and my house has been burgled. I’m offering a very big reward — find these people, let me know.

They even took my IBF belt — what are they going to do with it? Message me, DM me for a big reward,” said Whittaker.

As a reminder, on the night of November 30, Ben Whittaker (10-0-1, 7 KOs) knocked out Benjamin Gavazi in the very first round to win the WBC Silver title. Ready to Fight’s stats for the bout can be found via the link.
