Ben Whittaker to Headline Boxing Event on November 29

Matchroom Boxing has officially announced the next fight for British light heavyweight Ben Whittaker, who will headline the November 29 event in Birmingham, United Kingdom.

Whittaker will face Benjamin Gawazi of Germany for the WBC Silver title. The bout will be broadcast live on DAZN.

In April, Ben Whittaker (9-0-1, 6 KOs) stopped Liam Cameron in the second round of their rematch after their first encounter ended in a technical draw when both fighters fell out of the ring following the bell, causing Whittaker to suffer an injury.

Benjamin Gawazi (19-1, 13 KOs) last fought in December 2024, defeating Branimir Malenica by 10th-round TKO.
