British light heavyweight prospect Ben Whittaker (8-0-1, 5 KOs) has made a coaching change ahead of his next fight. The 27-year-old has now teamed up with Andy Lee, best known for working with interim WBO heavyweight champion Joseph Parker.
Whittaker is set to return to the ring on April 20 in Birmingham, UK, where he will face 34-year-old Liam Cameron (23-6-1, 10 KOs) in a rematch.
Their first fight ended in controversy after Whittaker suffered a back injury from falling through the ropes, leading to an abrupt stoppage. At the time of the halt, the judges’ scorecards had the fight ruled as a draw.
