Tony Bellew Names the Best Puncher in Boxing History

Former cruiserweight champion Tony Bellew revealed who he considers the best puncher in boxing history. The Brit believes that it’s not just about the knockout percentage but the level of opponents.

George Foreman. The most outstanding puncher boxing has ever seen, without a doubt, in any weight class. Judge a puncher by who he knocked out.

So don’t talk to me about Deontay Wilder being the hardest puncher the world has ever seen. Who did he knock out?” Bellew said in an interview with Instant Casino.

George Foreman competed as a professional from 1969 to 1997. Over his career, the American secured 76 wins, 68 of which came by knockout. The only fighter to knock out Foreman was Muhammad Ali in October 1974.
