Bellew's Insight: "Fury's Head Games Fall Short with Usyk

Ex-world champ Tony Bellew threw his two cents on the WBC king Tyson Fury's (34-0-1, 24 KOs) head games pre-bout with Oleksandr Usyk (21-0, 14 KOs):

"Let's get real here—you can't worm your way into Usyk's noggin. I fancy myself as pretty darn good at ruffling feathers. Top-notch at irking folks, really.

But what caught me off guard? His flawless English. After Usyk outclassed me, he waltzed into my locker room, and bam, the guy chats me up in English, all courteous and clear.

I mean, I'm practically leading his fan club here. He's got the English down pat. He isn't the chatterbox type. But listen, it's like his brain operates on a whole different frequency than anyone I've ever crossed paths with.

Fury trying to play mind tricks? Not gonna land a punch there," Bellew stated.

The ring saw Usyk and Bellew clash back in November 2018—with the Ukrainian scoring a knockout in round 8. Fury and Usyk were set for a showdown on February 17, but a hitch—Fury's injury—pushed the date to May 18.
