Former WBC light heavyweight world champion Oleksandr Gvozdyk revealed his target for 2026.
– How much longer do you plan to keep fighting?
– I like what I do. As long as I have the strength and my health allows it, I’ll keep boxing. When that’s over — I’ll be done.
– What goals are you setting for the rest of your career?
– To become a world champion again — either at the end of 2026 or at the beginning of 2027,” Gvozdyk said.
Gvozdyk (21-2, 17 KOs) last fought in April 2025, when he made his cruiserweight debut and stopped Anthony Holloway in the 3rd round.
