BBBofC and UKAD Win Appeal on Benn's Suspension

Last summer, the national anti-doping commission allowed Conor Benn to resume boxing matches in the UK. However, UKAD and the BBBofC appealed this decision and won, as reported by the Daily Mail.

The stance of UKAD and the BBBofC is that the 27-year-old athlete should not have a license to fight in Britain until he is cleared following a final explanation of how Clomiphene entered his system.

It remains unclear whether the result of the appeal could lead to Benn's activities being suspended again in Britain. It is also unknown whether the 18-month saga might ultimately end up in the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS).

Since April 2022, Conor Benn has had two fights in the USA.
